Better Italian Than Epcot's Italy Pavilion

The Italy Pavilion at Epcot is beautiful, but the restaurants there are designed for theme park volume. The waits are long, the prices are high, and the food — while decent — is not handmade. Ciao Italia is 15 minutes from Epcot and the difference is real. The pasta is made fresh every day. The sauces are cooked from scratch with imported Italian ingredients. The bread comes out of the oven warm. The Navarra family has been doing this since 1991, and it shows in every dish.

Real Italian Food, Real Italian Family

Epcot's World Showcase introduces you to Italian culture. Ciao Italia lets you taste it for real. The Linguine alle Vongole has fresh clams in garlic white wine. The Pappardelle al Cinghiale is wild boar ragu. The Vitello Piccata is veal with artichokes and lemon butter. And the Italian wine list covers every region. This is not a theme park version of Italian food. This is the real thing. Open nightly 5 to 10 PM. Free parking. Kids menu $13 with gelato. Call (407) 354-0770.
