In 1970, Josie and Antonio Navarra came to America from southern Italy and would eventually meet in Boston, Massachusetts. After marrying and starting a family they decided to move to Sunny Orlando to open Ciao Italia as one of the first Italian restaurants in the area.

From our humble roots, we established Ciao Italia as one of Orlando’s best Italian restaurant with authentic décor, superb service in classic Italian style, and culinary delicacies that bring all our guests a feel of Old-World Italy.

Through the years as the restaurant grew with popularity, they introduced their children into the business. Vincenzo would follow his father’s footsteps and become a talented chef, while Carmelo and Vanessa have helped grow Ciao Italia to what it is today with their love and dedication of family and hard work.

2 generations have brought authentic Italian food and atmosphere right here in our intimate, art-adorned restaurant.
