When Josie and Antonio Navarra opened Ciao Italia in 1991, they brought their Southern Italian family recipes and a simple philosophy: make great food from scratch, treat guests like family, and never take shortcuts.

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve is one of the most meaningful evenings of the holiday season, bringing families together before Christmas Day. At Ciao Italia Ristorante, guests can celebrate the occasion over an authentic Italian dinner prepared by a restaurant with deep family roots in Orlando. We will be open Thursday, December 24, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM, welcoming local residents and holiday visitors alike.
Established by the Navarra family in 1991, Ciao Italia has spent more than three decades sharing Italian food and hospitality with Orlando diners. Our restaurant, located at 6149 Westwood Boulevard on International Drive, combines an inviting atmosphere with scratch-made cuisine. The setting feels special enough for Christmas Eve but remains comfortably casual, with no dress code and shorts welcome.
Italian holiday traditions often place food and family at the center of the celebration, and our menu makes it easy to create a dinner suited to your own traditions. Fresh seafood is a natural choice for guests who enjoy Italian seafood dishes during Christmas Eve, while scratch-made pasta and risotto offer comforting selections for those who prefer something hearty.
Our complete regular dinner menu will be available, featuring chicken parmigiana, lasagna bolognese, veal piccata, and Australian rack of lamb. Additional specials of the day will be prepared for the occasion, but there is no separate Christmas Eve menu or mandatory prix fixe dinner. Children can enjoy our $13 kids menu with gelato included, and adults can choose from our wine and beer offerings.
Orlando families hosting relatives from out of town can enjoy a restaurant dinner without spending the day preparing a holiday feast. Ciao Italia is 1.4 miles from SeaWorld Orlando, approximately 2 miles from Discovery Cove, and only 0.9 miles from the Orange County Convention Center. These convenient distances also make our restaurant accessible to travelers staying in the International Drive hotel district.
Free on-site parking allows everyone to arrive independently, and our relaxed atmosphere accommodates both small family dinners and larger gatherings. For Christmas Eve reservations, use OpenTable or call (407) 354-0770. Walk-ins are welcome when seating is available, although holiday reservations are recommended. No prix fixe, no special menu. Our full regular dinner menu is available — every pasta, every entrée, every appetizer. Order exactly what you want.
