Our Story
When Josie and Antonio Navarra opened Ciao Italia in 1991, they brought their Southern Italian family recipes and a simple philosophy: make great food from scratch, treat guests like family, and never take shortcuts.
More than 35 years later, we are still here — locally owned, scratch-made, and proudly independent. No chains. No shortcuts. Just real Italian food on International Drive, 0.9 miles from the Orange County Convention Center.

Family Dining
Family dinner is about more than eating at the same table. It is an opportunity to reconnect, share stories and enjoy time away from the distractions of everyday life. Ciao Italia Ristorante embraces that tradition through Italian hospitality shaped by the Navarra family, who have owned the restaurant since 1991. The dining room encourages guests to settle in and enjoy being together.
A family meal might begin with shared appetizers before everyone chooses a favorite Italian dish. Handmade pasta offers comforting choices, while fresh seafood and Australian rack of lamb provide something distinctive for adults. Children can select from their $13 menu and finish with gelato. With upscale vibes and casual comfort, the restaurant creates a pleasant occasion without requiring formal attire.
Conveniently located on Westwood Boulevard in Orlando’s International Drive area, Ciao Italia welcomes both local families and visitors. Free parking makes meeting up easier, and dinner service runs nightly from 5 to 10 PM.
