Our Story
When Josie and Antonio Navarra opened Ciao Italia in 1991, they brought their Southern Italian family recipes and a simple philosophy: make great food from scratch, treat guests like family, and never take shortcuts.
More than 35 years later, we are still here — locally owned, scratch-made, and proudly independent. No chains. No shortcuts. Just real Italian food on International Drive, 0.9 miles from the Orange County Convention Center.

Yes — our private dining room is perfect for celebrating a well-earned promotion with colleagues, family, or friends. Seat 15 to 60 guests in a dedicated private space with authentic Italian cuisine.
The Rustica Family Style at $60/pp is an excellent choice — elevated dishes like Penne alla Vodka con Salmone, Brasato, and Pollo al Marsala served in shared platters. Premium enough for the occasion, communal enough for celebration.
Yes — our events team coordinates surprise celebrations regularly. We can seat colleagues first and coordinate the honoree's arrival for a memorable reveal in our private dining room.
Absolutely — our private dining room and full buyout both provide the intimacy and AV needed for toasts, speeches, and recognition. It is a meaningful setting for acknowledging someone's career achievement.
We serve wine and beer only at Ciao Italia — no champagne or cocktails. However, we offer an excellent wine selection through our Bar Package ($28/pp) that pairs beautifully with a celebration toast.
