We went for date night on Saturday and had a wonderful experience. It was the perfect intimate setting and our server, Tonny, was amazing! You could tell that he enjoyed working there and he recommended the most amazing dishes. This is truly a hidden gem and we will definitely be returning. I am definitely experienced with Italian food and I can tell you this place is 110% authentic and amazing. Everything from the veal to the cheesecake is homemade and from scratch. This is a very nice Italian restaurant. The food is great and the garlic bread is to die for! Slightly expensive but food is worth the price. The pesto pasta with chicken is worth trying. The atmosphere is also very cheerful.

I'd love to review the food, but we were taken to our table and ignored for nearly 30 minutes. We flagged down a different server than the one who took our drink orders to pay for our drinks. After we paid and while we were leaving, one of the staff double checked that we had paid for our bottle of soda.I'd comment on the wine list, but I can't because we were never offered it. I can't even say if the bread is any good (the menu implies it is) because we didn't get bread either.If you have a fetish for being ignored, you'll love it.

This is an amazing restaurant. We made reservations for 6 and our table was ready when we got there. Our waiter gave us the right amount of attentiveness and didn't bother us incessantly asking if we needed anything. The food was phenomenal! I ordered the seafood special which had tons of seafood and less pasta which was a welcome change to the carb heavy dishes you end up getting at other restaurants. We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer and it was the perfect balance of crunchiness and thickness of the break and the tomatoes. The prices were very reasonable and this place is like a hidden gem of the Orlando food scene. I will totally come back and recommend anyone else to come and try the cuisine.

This is another Italian restaurant that is an annual visit. The trio waiters are very Italian in nature - its not a bad thing just the way it is. I do love the food. One of my favs is the seafood Linguine and the Chicken with Limonecello sauce. Worth a visit when in the Orlando area.

The food and service were excellent. It is unfortunate that it is in an ugly strip mall. Prices felt high for the location. However once you get into the restaurant the atmosphere is upscale. Tables are close and it is loud. But good energy from all the wine and yummy food. Amazing service.

Well I would say: " get a police escort to get there faster"In our vacation condo....Googled restaurants ...went simply because of the great reviews....It is more than a 5 stars.... in my mind....Casual but yet complete with very attentive staff.A family owned restaurant since 1991.Have been to many fancy and expensive restaurants in Orlando, but Ciao, by far is the BEST.You feel transported to Tuscany before you walk in: beautiful planters cascading with awesome plants stand guard on each side of the door.Great Italian decor, Italian music, all paintings are made of Italian tiles depicting Italy’s beauty.The menu keeps you searching leaving you with many fabulous choices.Food is so so delicious and at least 20% less expensive than other places....The "Piece de resistance", is the staff.... we engaged with them and had a ball.Ask for Tony , the best waiter we’ve ever had."Ask him to tell you a couple of jokes"Gisele and Jarvis from Canada

Ciao was one of those great Florida surprises. The location, in a strip mall, would never lead you to think that the quality of food and service was going to be as outstanding as both were. The menu head a generous selection and I was particularly pleased to see the calamari was sauteed rather than deep fried. It was delicate and delicious. As we're both our entrees. Don't let the location discourage you, you won't regret stepping inside.

This was our 2nd time at Ciao and they did not disappoint. Service, food and ambiance are terrific. Portions are not only plenty but delicious. We both took half our meal home. Ciao is one of the top of our list of restaurants in Orlando. We moved here about 18 months ago and have been trying lots of restaurants all over Orlando. Most don't even get 2nd visits.

We came back to Ciao Italia this year because we were there last year and had great food that we took out. This year went back with my family to get food to go. The portions were so small that my grandchildren ate every bite. There was barely enough for an adult. This food was very expensive. They need to give a decent portion for an Adult. We went out for appetizers afterwards because we were still Hungary. We spent over 150.00 for this meal. We will not be going back next year. Otherwise staff was very helpful and the food that we got was good just not enough to feed one person.

First of all, we were seated immediately. Yes, we had a reservation. But that hasn't stopped other places from making us wait while they set up the table. The staff here was on top of it from the get-go and our table was waiting on us when we arrived. That's how reservations should work, other places need to take some notes from these guys!

Horrible customer service ! Stay away they were racist to me and my co workers because we had accents. I’ve never been through something like that before .Update : just to be clear I was standing beside my coworkers. the moment she started saying racist comments I’ve left the restaurant then one of my coworkers started to argue with her. I don’t justify his (or proud of his) behavior but equally I don’t think that any restaurant should have any racist employees. She made some really difficult to hear racist comments, begging him to react the way he did. I would like the owner to listen to what she said through the security cameras I’m sure she gave him a different story but he will be shocked once he’ll hear that.

I would give it five stars if I evaluated food only, because the food was excellent! I ordered eggplant parmigiana (I often order it in Italian restaurants) and it's the best eggplant parm I've had so far - eggplant was soft and airy and not overloaded with oil, as it absorbs a lot. The pasta was perfectly al dente. Garlic bread was delicious and fresh! And the salad, seemingly simple, had a very yummy dressing.The restaurant seemed a bit dark though. They could have used small lights if they wanted to make a cozier ambiance. Music would be nice too. The service was good but not the best. I'm not sure if it was a culture/personality difference or the server didn't seem like he cared much. I felt like he was performing his duties in a mechanical manner, like steps he needed to check off and move on. I didn't feel much engagement there, which kinda put a damper on my experience. Other staff members, not sure if it was a manager or something - were nice and more engaging.

We came here for our anniversary and I could not be more impressed! The outside is very unassuming - it's in the corner of a strip mall with a red neon sign. But when you step inside, it's beautiful! dark wood tables and beautiful tile art of Italian scenes on the walls. All the servers are Italian (or sound that way) and our server was so attentive and made excellent recommendations. The food, wine, and desserts blew us away! It may possibly have been the best meal I've ever had. We can't wait for the next time in we are in Orlando - we will be certain to visit Ciao Italia again.

I took a client group here for dinner, 12 total in the party. Food was good and everyone seemed to enjoy their entrees. I ordered the seafood lasagna and it was very generous on the amount of seafood, which was a big plus. Only reason I give them 3 stars is that the overall cost was high and service was a little off... weird things like they were "out of iced tea" even though we were there very early in the evening, and a long explanation of the evening special but "we only have four." Really?? We were the first party there. They also included 20% gratuity and then taxed, which just really annoys me. I felt like I was being upsold by an Italian used car salesman. Total bill with tip was $859, about $72 per person. I eat at a lot of fine dining establishments throughout the US and this place just isn't that great of a value. I wouldn't say "stay away" but I wouldn't go back either.

Authentic Italian food. I had the seafood pasta special. Excellent choice. Shrimp, scallops, and salmon all cooked perfectly, tasted great. The pasta was perfectly cooked and tasted homemade. Pasta fagoili was good and the bread was good as well. Give this place a try, you'll like it.

When I come to Orlando for conferences, I make dinner here a priority. But why?Having trekked the globe and been to quite a few places in Italy, this place keeps it authentic. I've seen reviews for this place by knuckleheads complaining about "slow service", but they don't understand that, in Italy, dinner isn't just about good food... It is about good conversation and enjoying those around you. Dinner is a place to talk and enjoy company as much as it is about great food. So, this place nails it in terms of being authentic. Their food is fantastic and their wait staff makes you feel at home (or in Italy). Ciao!

had a great meal here. the place was inviting and the service was excellent. as a person not to keen on eating red meat or pasta i knew my options going into this place would be limited but I was able to choose something - fish of the day - and it was more than satisfying.just the options for vegetarian/vegan are not amazing here. pescatarians will fare better here but still have limited choices.

I look forward to going to Ciao every January when I'm in town for work. Every year it is phenomenal. The food is super fresh and exquisitely prepared. The service is impeccable. All of the staff remembers us from year to year.I can't wait for next January. It'll be a long 11 months...Update... Still amazingly delicious food. This is 2020, I think I've had dinner her every January for the past 6 or 7 years. The staff is terrific, always good for suggestions, and attentive. The Calamari is one of the best I've ever had, soft and melts in your mouth. The lobster bisque is sweet, savory and deliciously filling.

Not sure how this place has such high ratings. Yes we were seated quickly. Their homemade bread was amazing, but that’s it for what I can say that was great about this place. The waiter took forever to come over and spent more time in the back then he ever did with his tables. When we went to order the seafood dish from the regular menu he told us we didn’t want that because it would be too sweet so get the seafood dish on special. The special included salmon and another fish rather than just shrimp and scallops. My hubby can’t do salmon so he politely asked for no salmon. Waiter said no problem. We waited 30 minutes after ordering the appetizer for the appetizer(garlic bread) and the fresh bread. The food was another 20 minutes after that but only half the food was brought to our table of 5. Another 5 minutes later the last two plates came out. The waiter had no idea what plate might be no salmon. Lighting was crazy dim. Told us to figure it out ourselves because the sauce was too “pink” for him to tell. Shrimp and scallops were rubbery. Our teens usually can’t get enough pasta, but all our kids left well over half their meal. Meatballs were nothing special. Our 8 yr old they charged for a full size meal when we ordered the pasta with butter sauce right from the child’s menu he was holding. Charged both teens for pasta with meatballs when one only had pasta with sauce. Worst service we have had in years. Can’t think of worse Italian that was have had. Went in about 7:30pm.

We loved our meal at Ciao Italia. Our server assisted me in finding the vegetarian options on the menu and the eggplant parmigiana was the best I've ever had! Spouse loved his meal too -- the shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection. Great food, service and ambiance.
