The Navarra family opened Ciao Italia Ristorante in 1991 on International Drive in Orlando, Florida. More than 35 years later, the family is still behind the restaurant — still making pasta by hand, still pouring from an Italian wine list, still greeting guests at the door of the same address at 6149 Westwood Blvd.
The menu is Southern Italian from start to finish. Soups like Pasta e Fagioli and Aragosta Bisque. Antipasti including Burrata, Bruschetta, and sautéed Calamari in white wine lemon butter sauce. Handmade pasta: Fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna, Tortellini con Brasato, Ravioli di Pesce, Risotto alla Pescatora. For secondi: Chicken and Veal Parmigiana, Pan-Seared Salmon, Braised Short Rib, Australian Lamb Chops, Gulf Grouper. Wine and beer only — a curated Italian list, no cocktails.
