When Josie and Antonio Navarra opened Ciao Italia in 1991, they brought their Southern Italian family recipes and a simple philosophy: make great food from scratch, treat guests like family, and never take shortcuts.

Rosen Shingle Creek
There are plenty of places along International Drive that call themselves Italian. Most are chains serving the same reheated recipes you can find in any American strip mall. Ciao Italia Ristorante is not one of them.
The menu reflects Southern Italian cooking: simple ingredients, honest preparation, big flavors. The Linguine alle Vongole features fresh clams in white wine garlic sauce. The Pappardelle al Cinghiale brings wild boar ragu with porcini mushrooms and pecorino. The Vitello Piccata is veal scaloppini with artichokes, capers, and lemon butter.
