Shared Plates Italian Dining Orlando
Generous platters passed around the table. The Italian way of eating together. Three menus from $50/person.
Pass the Platter. Try Everything. That Is the Point.
Shared plates eliminate the worst part of group dining — the 20-minute argument about what everyone is going to order. At Ciao Italia, there is no individual ordering. Your group picks one menu, and every course arrives in generous platters at the center of the table. You pass, you serve, you try everything. That is how Italians have eaten for centuries.
The beauty of shared plates is that everyone gets to taste every dish. The person who would never order salmon tries the Salmone Toscano. The one who always gets chicken discovers the Brasato. No one is stuck with a bad choice, and no one has menu envy. The whole table eats the same food, at the same pace, together.
At Ciao Italia, every platter is handmade from scratch by the Navarra family kitchen. 35 years of shared Italian food on International Drive.

Why Shared Plates Make Better Group Dinners
When everyone orders individually, half the table finishes before the other half gets their food. People eat in silence, staring at their own plate. Shared plates fix all of that. Platters arrive together, everyone serves at the same time, and the conversation never stops because the food keeps moving.
It is not a gimmick. It is how Italian families have always eaten. Ciao Italia brought that tradition to Orlando in 1991.

Everyone Gets to Try Everything
The biggest advantage of shared plates is variety. Instead of being locked into one entrée, your group gets three. The Classica menu serves Pollo alla Parmigiana, Lasagna, and Fettuccine Alfredo — all to the center of the table. Everyone tastes everything. Nobody misses out.
No menus to agonize over. No ordering pressure. Just great food, shared the right way.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are shared plates?
Shared plates means every course is served in generous platters placed at the center of the table. Everyone at the table serves themselves and passes platters around — starters, salad, entrées, and dessert are all shared together.
How much food is in each platter?
Each platter is portioned generously for the full table. Every guest gets starters, salad, three entrées, dessert, and coffee or tea. The portions are designed so nobody leaves hungry.
Can picky eaters still enjoy shared plates?
Yes. With three entrées per menu, there is always something for everyone. Each menu includes a pasta, a chicken or meat dish, and a fish option in the higher tiers. Picky eaters can focus on their favorites while still being part of the experience.
Is it all-you-can-eat?
No. Family-style shared plates are generous fixed portions — starters, salad, three entrées, and dessert for the table. It is not a buffet or unlimited refills, but the portions are more than enough for every guest.
What if someone has allergies?
Inform us when booking. Gluten-free pasta available upon request. Vegetarian modifications possible. We can work with most dietary needs when given advance notice. Call (407) 354-0770.
Do you serve wine and beer?
Yes. Ciao Italia offers an Italian wine list and beer selection curated to pair with the food. Wine and beer only — no cocktails or full bar. Drinks are ordered separately from the set menu price.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend at least 1 week for groups of 10–20 and 2+ weeks for larger groups or private dining. Convention weeks book quickly — plan ahead. Call (407) 354-0770 or submit an inquiry online.
