Our Story
When Josie and Antonio Navarra opened Ciao Italia in 1991, they brought their Southern Italian family recipes and a simple philosophy: make great food from scratch, treat guests like family, and never take shortcuts.
More than 35 years later, we are still here — locally owned, scratch-made, and proudly independent. No chains. No shortcuts. Just real Italian food on International Drive, 0.9 miles from the Orange County Convention Center.

If you are looking for a restaurant on Westwood Boulevard in Orlando, Ciao Italia Ristorante is part of the street’s local dining history. The Navarra family established the restaurant in 1991, creating an independent Italian destination that continues welcoming neighborhood residents and travelers. Unlike a restaurant located inside a large attraction or resort, Ciao Italia offers a welcoming dining room with its own character and family tradition.
Our kitchen serves scratch-made pasta, traditional veal piccata, homemade Italian favorites and fresh seafood dishes. Families, couples and business travelers can enjoy dinner without a formal dress code. The restaurant is also an option for celebrations, with private dining accommodations for up to 60 guests and a full restaurant buyout accommodating up to 110. Wine and beer are available to accompany group meals.

We are just 0.9 miles from the Orange County Convention Center, making us convenient for nearby hotels and businesses. Enjoy free parking and dinner nightly from 5 to 10.
