The Family Dinner Your Vacation Has Been Missing
Every Orlando vacation follows the same dinner pattern. Day one, you are excited and find something decent. Day two, the kids are tired and you end up at a chain. Day three, you give up and order pizza to the hotel. Ciao Italia Ristorante breaks that cycle. We are a family-owned Italian restaurant on Westwood Blvd near SeaWorld, and we have been the vacation dinner highlight for Orlando families since 1991.
The food is real. The pasta is handmade in our kitchen. The portions are generous. The Chicken Parmigiana alone is enough food for a grown adult and then some. The Lasagna is layered with slow-cooked meat sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella. The kids will eat well, the adults will eat better, and everyone leaves satisfied. That is what a family dinner on vacation should feel like.
Something for Every Age at the Table
Traveling with kids means navigating different tastes, different moods, and different levels of patience. Our menu handles all of it. For younger children, classic pasta with marinara or chicken parmesan are reliable hits. For teenagers, the Rigatoni Bolognese and the Lasagna hit the spot. For the adults, the Risotto Pescatore, the Veal Piccata, the Pappardelle with Wild Boar ragu, and the Australian Lamb Chops make the meal feel like something special.
The atmosphere at Ciao Italia is warm without being loud. It is refined enough for a nice dinner but relaxed enough that nobody feels uncomfortable if a child spills something. We have been hosting families for over 35 years, and our staff knows how to make everyone at the table feel welcome.
