Our Story
When Josie and Antonio Navarra opened Ciao Italia in 1991, they brought their Southern Italian family recipes and a simple philosophy: make great food from scratch, treat guests like family, and never take shortcuts.
More than 35 years later, we are still here — locally owned, scratch-made, and proudly independent. No chains. No shortcuts. Just real Italian food on International Drive.

Nothing here comes from a freezer. The pasta dough is mixed and rolled fresh. The Bolognese simmers for hours. The Calamari Saltati is sautéed to order in white wine lemon butter — not battered and deep-fried. Even the kids menu is real Italian food: Spaghetti Marinara, Cheese Ravioli. Every kids meal is $13 and includes gelato.
The Risotto alla Pescatora is the showpiece — arborio rice cooked slowly with clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari. The Sacchetti di Filetto wraps truffle sage pasta around sliced filet in parmigiano cream. The Agnello delivers Australian lamb chops with mashed potatoes and asparagus. For a classic, the Pollo alla Parmigiana is breaded and cooked to order with marinara and melted mozzarella.
