A family from Italy opened this restaurant in 1991 and they are still here, still making the pasta by hand, still baking the bread fresh, still cooking every sauce from scratch in the same kitchen.
This is not chain Italian. The sautéed calamari is tender and seasoned properly. The Pappardelle al Cinghiale is a wild boar ragu with porcini mushrooms and pecorino that you will not find anywhere else near the convention center. The Linguine alle Vongole uses fresh clams in white wine garlic sauce. The Risotto alla Pescatora is loaded with clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari.
