Restaurants Near Pointe Orlando
Better food than the usual I-Drive chains. Just a short drive away.
Skip the I-Drive Tourist Traps
Pointe Orlando has shopping, entertainment, and plenty of chain restaurants. But if you have ever sat down at one of those I-Drive spots and thought, "This is fine, but is this really the best Orlando has to offer?" then you already know the problem. The tourist corridor is packed with predictable food at tourist prices.
Ciao Italia is just a short drive from Pointe Orlando, but it feels like a completely different world. We are on Westwood Blvd, a quiet street away from the I-Drive noise. The Navarra family has been here since 1991, making handmade pasta and cooking real Italian food for everyone who walks through the door.
This is not a restaurant that popped up to catch tourist traffic. This is a place where a real family has been cooking for 35 years. You can taste the difference in every bite.
What the Chains Cannot Give You
Olive Garden has unlimited breadsticks. Maggiano's has the big portions. Carrabba's has the grill. But none of them have a family in the kitchen who has been making the same recipes for three decades. None of them hand-roll their pasta every morning. And none of them have 4,000+ reviews from people who keep coming back specifically because the food is that good.
A Quiet Escape from International Drive
One of the best things about Ciao Italia is the location. Close enough to I-Drive and Pointe Orlando that you are not driving across town, but far enough that you escape the traffic, the noise, and the crowds. Westwood Blvd is calm. There is free self-parking right at the restaurant. You walk in and immediately feel the difference.
Inside, it is warm and welcoming. The kind of place where the staff knows your name after your second visit. Tables are set nicely, the lighting is just right, and the food speaks for itself. Whether you are here with your partner for date night or bringing the whole family after a day at Pointe Orlando, it works.
Groups and Private Dining
Got a bigger crew? Maybe you are in town for a convention, or your family reunion is happening on I-Drive. We do private dining for up to 60 guests and full buyouts for up to 110. It is way more memorable than splitting your group across tables at a chain. Call us and we will set everything up.
Our menu has something for everyone. Light eaters can start with burrata and bruschetta. Pasta lovers have a dozen handmade options. Seafood fans should try the risotto pescatore or the linguine with clams. And the kids get their own $13 menu with gelato, so nobody is arguing about what to order.
