And every year, you end up at the same I-Drive chain where the food is forgettable and the service is overwhelmed. Convention group dining in Orlando does not have to be a compromise.
Ciao Italia Ristorante has been the alternative since 1991. Located ten minutes from the Orange County Convention Center on Westwood Boulevard, the restaurant has a dedicated private dining room that seats up to 60 guests. For larger convention groups, a full restaurant buyout accommodates 110. The food is made from scratch by the Navarra family, who personally plan every group event.
How Convention Group Dinners Work
The process is simple. Call the restaurant, tell them your group size and date, and the Navarra family takes it from there. They will build a prix fixe menu based on your preferences: antipasti and salads to start, followed by handmade pasta courses, entrees like Risotto alla Pescatora, Vitello Piccata, or Pollo Marsala, and house-made desserts to close. Wine pairings are available. The staff paces the meal properly so your group can enjoy conversation between courses without feeling rushed or delayed.

Getting Here from the OCCC
Ciao Italia is at 6149 Westwood Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32821, approximately 10 minutes from the Orange County Convention Center by car. Rideshare from the OCCC is easy and inexpensive. Free self-parking is available for guests who drive. The restaurant is open seven days a week, 5 PM to 10 PM.
