Our Story
When Josie and Antonio Navarra opened Ciao Italia in 1991, they brought their Southern Italian family recipes and a simple philosophy: make great food from scratch, treat guests like family, and never take shortcuts.
More than 35 years later, we are still here — locally owned, scratch-made, and proudly independent. No chains. No shortcuts. Just real Italian food on International Drive.

When the Navarra family opened Ciao Italia in 1991, their idea was simple: cook real Italian food, greet every guest personally, and never cut corners. Thirty-five years later, guests staying at Extended Stay America Orlando Westwood Blvd still walk over for exactly that experience.
Ciao Italia is under a 5-minute walk — literally on Westwood Blvd at 6149 Westwood Blvd on International Drive. The dining room seats 110 guests, with a private room that holds up to 60 for group dinners, celebrations, or special occasions. Group dining packages start at $60 per person. Whether it is a family dinner after SeaWorld or a group event during your stay, the Navarra family handles it all personally.
The warmth at Ciao Italia is not an act. The family remembers returning guests. They recommend dishes based on what you like, not what has the highest margin. The wine list is curated to pair with the food — Italian wines and beers selected for the menu, not a corporate catalog. The kids menu is $13 with gelato because the Navarras believe every child should leave happy.
