Our Story
When Josie and Antonio Navarra opened Ciao Italia in 1991, they brought their Southern Italian family recipes and a simple philosophy: make great food from scratch, treat guests like family, and never take shortcuts.
More than 35 years later, we are still here — locally owned, scratch-made, and proudly independent. No chains. No shortcuts. Just real Italian food on International Drive.

Thanksgiving
Visitors spending Thanksgiving along International Drive have plenty of activities to choose from, but finding a comfortable dinner should not become another holiday challenge. Ciao Italia Ristorante offers a straightforward answer: a family-owned Italian restaurant open for its usual evening service. Rather than fighting the crowds at larger entertainment complexes, guests can settle into a welcoming dining room and enjoy a proper Italian meal.
Thanksgiving at Ciao Italia is about familiar hospitality and choosing what you actually want to eat. Enjoy handmade pasta, seafood, or traditional Italian main courses while sharing the evening with loved ones. The Navarra family has served Orlando since 1991, creating an atmosphere that feels special without being formal. Children have a $13 menu with gelato, and casual clothing is welcome.
Located at 6149 Westwood Boulevard, Ciao Italia sits directly across from the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Theme Park Resort. Free parking makes arrival convenient for International Drive visitors. The restaurant opens Thanksgiving evening from 5 to 10, and guests may walk in or arrange reservations through OpenTable. Make Thanksgiving dinner an easy part of your Orlando holiday.

Walk-ins are always welcome, but Thanksgiving is one of our busiest nights. We strongly recommend calling ahead at (407) 354-0770 or booking online to secure your table.
No prix fixe, no special menu. Our full regular dinner menu is available — every pasta, every entrée, every appetizer. Order exactly what you want.
