Can I see the private dining room before booking?
Absolutely. We encourage you to visit Ciao Italia and see the private dining room, semi-private area, and full restaurant space in person. Contact our events team at (407) 354-0770 to schedule a walkthrough. We're open nightly from 5 to 10 PM and happy to show you the venue before or during service hours.
What is semi-private dining?
Semi-private dining at Ciao Italia is a sectioned-off area of our main dining room that accommodates 20 to 50 guests. It gives your group its own dedicated space and server without requiring a full room rental. A food & beverage minimum applies and varies by season. It's ideal for business dinners, family gatherings, birthday celebrations, and date night groups who want a more intimate setting.
Can I bring my own decorations?
Yes — you are welcome to bring your own decorations for any of our private dining spaces. Our events team can coordinate setup timing with you in advance. We ask that decorations do not involve open flames, glitter, or confetti, and that walls and fixtures are not damaged. For full buyouts, you have complete freedom to transform the space.
Is there AV equipment available?
Yes. Ciao Italia offers AV and presentation setup for corporate events, meetings, and celebrations in the private dining room and for full buyouts. We can accommodate screens, projectors, microphones, and music systems. Please let our events team know your AV requirements when you inquire so we can prepare everything in advance.
How is the seating arranged?
Seating at Ciao Italia is fully customizable for private events. The private dining room supports banquet-style long tables, round table configurations, U-shape setups, and classroom-style arrangements. For full buyouts, the entire restaurant floor plan can be reconfigured. Our events manager works with you to create the ideal layout for your group size and event type.
Is there parking for guests?
Yes — Ciao Italia offers free self-parking for all guests. Our lot is directly adjacent to the restaurant with ample space for private events and full buyouts. There is no valet fee and no parking garage to navigate. For large events, additional overflow parking is available nearby on International Drive.
How close is Ciao Italia to the Convention Center?
Ciao Italia is located just 1 mile from the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) — about a 5-minute drive. We are one of the closest private dining venues to the OCCC on International Drive, making us a top choice for convention group dinners, corporate off-site events, and conference hospitality meals.
Can I book a private luncheon at Ciao Italia?
Yes — although Ciao Italia is not open to the public for lunch, we host private luncheons by special arrangement for groups of 15 or more. You can reserve the full restaurant (up to 110 guests) or the private dining room (up to 60 guests). All three group menu packages are available for luncheons: Plated ($60–$80/pp), Family Style ($50–$70/pp), and Buffet ($60/pp). AV and presentation equipment is available for corporate luncheons and award ceremonies. We ask for at least 2–3 weeks notice, and a $500 deposit secures your date. Located just 1 mile from the OCCC, we are a top choice for convention breakout meals and midday corporate events.
